Alan Weisenberger | Business Leader
Alan Weisenberger launched enLumen Leadership Services to invest in the next generation of marketplace and ministry leaders. With a passion to help young leaders become wise before they grow old, Alan provides coaching, mentoring, and consulting to help leaders create healthy organizations where people flourish. His background includes twenty years as VP of Technology Services with Evangelical Christian Credit Union and eleven years with Bank of America. He serves as an elder at Grace Church of Orange and on the boards of several other ministries. He and his wife, Kerri, have three daughters and one son-in-law.
Ellesse Wong | Business Operations
Grew up in Bakersfield, CA and came to LA to go to school at UCLA. Grew up going to church, but really got to know Jesus on a relational level in college at Cru/going to church at Reality LA. Currently work in operations at a real estate tech company. Love being apart of a local church plant in West LA. Love great food and great adventures in the city I love.
Jeff Zweerink | Scientific Research + Ministry
Astrophysicist Jeff Zweerink is a senior research scholar at Reasons to Believe, an organization dedicated to demonstrating the compatibility of science and Christianity. He earned a BS in physics and a PhD in astrophysics with a focus on gamma rays from Iowa State University. A lecture by RTB founder Hugh Ross convinced Jeff that integration of science and faith is possible. Today, Jeff is the author of Is There Life Out There? and speaks on the evidence for creation from exoplanets and multiverse theory. He also participates in dark matter research at UCLA.
Jon and Kim Wada | Physicians
Jon and Kim are believers who have been following Jesus for over years, are in a diverse church community with Destino leaders especially the Becerra’s, and are physicians caring for those on the margins and planning on going overseas.
Kari Pel | Finance and Tax Planner
Kari is a financial and tax planner in Orange County, CA. She graduated from Hope International University in Fullerton, CA. She and her husband currently serve in a six-year old church plant, located in the Little Arabia area of Anaheim, CA.
Brett Dobosy | Engineer
Brett works as an engineer at a medical manufacturer in South Orange County. Adapting to post-college and post-Cru life were and are difficult. One of the ways I’ve seen success in being involved with ministry is hosting bible studies in my workplace. He would love to share his experiences with students and answer questions about integrating faith into the world that awaits after college.
Matt Fong | Physician
Matt Fong is a Christ follower who has enjoyed working as a pediatrician and medical educator at Loma Linda University since 2011. Though he grew up in a Christian household and chose to follow Christ at a young age, he experienced a spiritual turning point and rapid spiritual growth during his time at Cal from 1998-2002. While at Cal, he studied Molecular and Cell Biology–Immunology while being a part of Campus Crusade for Christ (now Cru), Bay Area Chinese Bible Church, and Cal Band. He received his medical degree from Saint Louis University in Missouri and completed a pediatric residency at Loma Linda University. He currently lives in Loma Linda, California but knows that the earth is not his ultimate home.
Paul Slemmer | Creative Director
Paul is a director, designer and musician working as a creative director at a video marketing agency. He has a passion for bringing God glory through creativity, both at work and personally. He is a lifelong learner and a generalist at heart. The education and career path that God has taken him on is unique and unconventional. He loves helping people find the unique creative path that God has set for them to learn and grow.
Sean Lea | Video Production
Sean grew up in Northern California and gave his life to Jesus in high school. He moved to Southern California to attend CSU Northridge. There, he was involved with InterVarsity, led several groups, and found his spiritual family. Graduated with a BA in Film Production in May 2017 and currently works at Blizzard Entertainment as an Assistant Editor on the video team. He’s working with Jesus wherever he leads.
Hilary Cook | Business + Insurance
Hillary finished her undergrad in 2012 and interned with Cru in the Irvine regional office for 2 years. She’s been working in the corporate world for almost 4 years. Currently, she works in insurance and loves it. She went back to school for her masters in Organizational Leadership in 2017 and will be graduating May 2019.
Ivy Chua | Healthcare, Entrepreneurship, Nursing, Business Leader
After serving in China as a missionary with an Unreached people group years ago, Ivy felt God leading her to go back to school to become a nurse practitioner with the hopes of returning to the mission field to bring healthcare and health education to the poorest of the poor. After completing her nursing education, Ivy worked as a public health nurse with the homeless in Orange County. Then, after obtaining her Masters degree and Family NP certification, began working in migrant health and homeless medicine. She pioneered a street medicine team in the central coast of California bringing crucial healthcare to the underserved where they reside: under bridges, in encampments, on street corners, motels, and shelters. She now serves as the Director of Healthcare Services at Illumination Foundation (www.ifhomeless.org), a non-profit that helps to break the cycle of homelessness in LA/OC and Inland Empire; and also teaches at Azusa Pacific University in the graduate nursing program. Her passion is to bring the hope and love of Jesus to the vulnerable and downtrodden, to improve healthcare access, delivery, and systems, and to train/equip/disciple the next generation in knowing the heart of God for the “least of these”. Her life bible passage is Matthew 25:31-46.
Kay Park | Business Marketing and Management
Kay currently works at Warner Bros as a Content & Performance Marketing Manager for video games! She’s been a Christian since college when she joined InterVarsity at UCLA. She grew up Catholic and was always a strong believer God. College was when she truly found a personal relationship with Jesus and since graduating, she definitely relates to the difficulties of finding your path as a Christian in the real world!
Chris Low | Business Management
Chris grew up in Rancho Palos Verdes and went to UCLA where he studied Economics and Global Studies. He is currently a business management analyst at Northrop Grumman, which was recently rated as the top place for millennials to work. He has been able to establish great relationships with coworkers and start a Book Club reading Tim Keller’s Reason for God. In spare time, his interests include sports, concerts, new restaurants, and Philz coffee.

Alison Malanowski | Consultant
A UCLA graduate with a degree in Economics, Alison currently works as a Senior Consulting Analyst with Accenture Consulting. She has experience in auto-finance, international business, financial planning and insurance; however, her practice now is focused on organizational change management and immersive learning strategy within the utility space. Alison is passionate about incorporating faith into the marketplace and engaging with corporate work from a gospel perspective. When not at work, you can catch Alison enjoying some tea out in the sun.

As a nurse practitioner and a professor, I’m passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences and equipping my students to have a significant impact on the lives of their patients and in their communities. Chaz Smith is a social media influencer who has been graced with over 1 million followers on YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook. He uses these platforms to shine light in dark places through comedic, inspirational, and faith-based content. He desires to make a lasting impact on people through laughter and having open conversations about issues that are typically swept under the rug, misunderstood, or considered taboo. He currently lives in Los Angeles California, and aims to have a career in entertainment as a producer, director, talk show host, business owner, writer, and mentor, but most importantly, to share the gospel in love and truth.

Audra Gustafson | Dietitian + Community Health
Audra is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, and has been working at Northeast Valley Health Corporation, a community health center in the San Fernando Valley, for the last 14 years. She has also been very involved in her church Reality LA since it began over a decade ago, specifically in the prayer ministry for the last 12 years. She’s been leading a prayer teams for over two years. She also served with International Students Inc. (ISI) and the Peace Corps.

Peppy graduated from USC in 2016 majoring in Computer Science. He worked as full stack developer for a startup in Santa Monica called Tradesy for 2 years and is currently a full stack developer at Bolt in Culver City. Peppy serves as worship director at Paradigm LA.
Cherie Shields | Business Operations + Author
Cherie Shields born and raised in Orange County graduated from Cal State Fullerton in 2010 where she began working at a construction company. She is currently VP of operations and manages 200 employees. Her background is in operations and Human Resources. She was raised in the church and always had a relationship with God, but truly found her passion in faith in her 20s. Cherie recently published a book called “The Fingerprint Series” about growing your roots in Christ to begin fulfilling your legacy. She has a 20 month old daughter named Audrey and and supportive husband, Ben Shields, who make all she does possible.
Benjamin Shields | Business Management and Sales
Ben Shields is currently the Sr. Account Manager at Transcend Information, managing some of the companies largest retail and B2B partners, including Amazon, CDW and several IT solution distributors. His previous experience includes district sales management with Frito-Lay along with Executive Account Management for Alcone Marketing group managing Advertising Solutions for Nestle, Patron, Logitech and UPS. Aside from spending time with his awesome wife and beautiful 1.5 year old daughter, Ben has a passion for racing cars on the weekend and pretty much anything with an engine.
Tommy Dyo | Ministry, Management, and Leadership
Tommy has been in full time campus ministry work since 1988. In 2006, he joined Campus Crusade as National Executive Director for Epic Movement. He has also been a Strategic Planning Consultant for several organizations including the Wright Foundation for Pediatric Ophthalmology, Cal State Long Beach School of Nursing, and Asian American Leadership Center. In 2010, he was a US delegate at the 3rd Lausanne Congress on World Evangelization in Cape Town South Africa. In 2011, he helped coordinate relief work in the Sendai region of Japan. He has served on several boards and is involved with many organizations. Since 2015, Tommy has been serving with Epic’s Partnering and Development Team and serves in Cru’s Senior Leadership Initiative (SLI) design team.
